I’m having trouble figuring out where to put fabric softener in my Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve read the manual, but it doesn’t seem to provide any guidance on this. Does anyone know where the fabric softener goes? I’m hoping to get some advice from someone who has experience with this type of washing machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had a new Hotpoint washing machine and I was so excited to try it out. I was so eager to get my clothes clean and soft that I forgot to read the instructions. I was about to put the fabric softener in the wrong place and it was only when I took a closer look at the machine that I realised where it should go.
The fabric softener needs to be put into the special fabric softener drawer at the top of the machine. It was a small drawer with a lid that I had to lift up to access. It was so easy to miss if I hadn’t taken the time to read the instructions.
Once I had the fabric softener in the right place, I was able to get the best results from my washing machine. My clothes were softer and smelled amazing. I was so glad I had taken the time to read the instructions and put the fabric softener in the right place. It was a lesson I would never
