I have a 2005 Amana bottom freezer refrigerator and I’m wondering where I should put the freon. I’m not sure if it goes in the freezer or the refrigerator section. I’m not sure if it’s a specific location or if I should just spread it around. I’m not sure if I should be using any special tools or if I should just be careful when doing it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The freon is located in the compressor of the refrigerator. It is not visible from the outside and requires a certified technician to access and service.
