what number should hotpoint fridge freezer be on

I have a Hotpoint fridge freezer and I’m not sure what setting it should be on. I’m looking for advice on what the best temperature setting would be. I’m concerned that it’s not set correctly as I’m noticing that food is going off quicker than it should. I’d really appreciate any advice that anyone can give me on what setting I should have it on.
