I am trying to figure out what the “LOC” setting on my Amana oven means. I have looked through the manual and searched online for an answer but I can’t seem to find what it stands for. Does anyone know what the “LOC” setting is used for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember when I first bought my Amana oven. I was so excited to have a modern and efficient appliance in my kitchen. But I was a bit confused when I saw the label “LOC” on the front of the oven. I had no idea what it meant, and I didn’t want to risk damaging my new oven by pushing the wrong buttons.
So I looked it up online and found out that “LOC” stands for “Lockout”. It’s a safety feature that prevents the oven from being accidentally turned on. This is especially important if you have young children or pets in the house.
I was relieved to know what the “LOC” meant and I’m glad that Amana has taken the time to include this safety feature on their ovens. It’s a great way to ensure that no one gets hurt and that the oven is used correctly. I’m thankful for the peace of mind it brings me, and I’m glad that I took
