what causes a pool of water on the bottom of an amana refrigerator

I have an Amana refrigerator and recently I noticed a pool of water on the bottom of it. I’m not sure what is causing this. I’ve checked the water line and it seems to be connected properly. I’ve also checked the drain pan and it seems to be in good condition. I’m not sure what else could be causing the issue. Does anyone have any advice on what could be causing this issue and how I can fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The most common cause of a pool of water on the bottom of an Amana refrigerator is a blocked or clogged drain tube. This can be caused by food particles, dirt, or other debris that has built up in the tube, preventing the water from draining properly. Other possible causes include a faulty water inlet valve, a faulty water filter, or a faulty defrost timer.
