I have an Amana refrigerator and I’m trying to remove the filter. The instructions say to turn it left, but I’m having trouble doing that. Is there a particular technique I should use to remove the filter? Do I need to use a tool to help me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To remove the filter from an Amana refrigerator, turn the filter left (in the direction of the arrow) until it is loose enough to pull out.
