I’m having an issue with my Kitchenaid ice maker and I’m not sure how to turn it on. I’ve looked through the manual but I’m still having trouble figuring out how to get it working. I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I’m not sure what I’m missing so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure I’m just overlooking something simple, but I’m not sure what. I had been living in my apartment for a few months before I realized that I had an ice maker in my kitchen. I was so excited to finally be able to make my own ice, but I had no idea how to turn it on. After a few minutes of searching online, I found the instructions for turning on my KitchenAid ice maker.
First, I had to make sure the water line was connected to the back of the unit. Then, I had to locate the power switch on the side of the unit and make sure it was turned to the “on” position. After that, I had to press the “on/off” button on the front of the unit and wait a few minutes for the ice to start making.
I was so relieved when I finally heard the ice cubes starting to drop into the tray. I was so proud of myself for figuring out how to turn on my ice maker and now I can enjoy
