how to troubleshoot a problem with a kitchenaid washing machine

I’m having a problem with my KitchenAid washing machine and I’m not sure how to troubleshoot it. It started making a loud noise when I started a cycle and now it won’t start at all. I’ve checked the power supply and it’s all connected properly, so I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve looked online for advice but I haven’t been able to find anything that’s helped. Can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it?
