I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to take the cover off my Amana cloth washing machine. I’ve looked at the manual and it doesn’t seem to explain how to do it. Does anyone have any experience with this model of washing machine and can offer some advice? I’m hoping to get the cover off so I can check the hoses and make sure everything is in working order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To remove the cover of an Amana cloth washing machine, first unplug the machine from the wall outlet. Then, remove the screws from the back of the machine that hold the cover in place. Lift the cover off the machine and set it aside.
