how to take apart a kitchenaid washer

I have a KitchenAid washer that I need to take apart but I’m not sure how to do it. I’m looking for advice on how to disassemble it safely and properly. I’ve looked online for instructions but haven’t been able to find any. Does anyone have any experience with this type of washer and can provide me with some guidance? I would really appreciate any help or advice you can provide. Thank you.

  1. I remember the first time I had to take apart a Kitchenaid washer. It was intimidating at first, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by unplugging the machine and removing the back panel. I then unscrewed the screws that held the top panel in place and lifted it off. I then had to remove the agitator and the inner tub. I had to be careful not to damage any of the wires or hoses. Once I had the inner tub out, I was able to access the pump and motor. I unscrewed the bolts and removed the pump and motor. I then had to remove the belt and the pulley. After that, I was able to take out the transmission and the drive shaft. Finally, I had to clean all the parts and put them back together in the reverse order. It was a lot of work, but I was proud of myself for figuring it out.
