I recently purchased a Frigidaire electric oven and I’m trying to figure out how to self clean it. I read the manual and it said to press the “clean” button, but I’m not sure what happens after that. Does the oven lock? Does it heat up to a certain temperature? I’m hoping someone can explain the process to me and what I need to do to make sure my oven is properly cleaned.

To self clean your Frigidaire electric oven, you will need to turn the oven to the self-clean setting, usually located on the oven control panel. Once the oven is in the self-clean mode, it will heat up to a very high temperature to burn off any food residue. After the cycle is complete, you will need to wipe down the oven with a damp cloth to remove any ash residue.
