I had a power outage recently that left my KitchenAid refrigerator without power for a few hours. I was worried that all my food would spoil, but luckily, I was able to reset the refrigerator after the power came back on.
First, I unplugged the refrigerator and waited a few minutes before plugging it back in. Then, I opened the refrigerator door and held down the reset button for around 3 seconds. After that, I heard a beep and the refrigerator was back on.
Next, I checked the temperature settings to make sure they were still correct. I set the temperature to the recommended setting and then closed the door. I opened it again a few minutes later and the temperature had already dropped to the correct temperature.
Finally, I checked the interior of the refrigerator to make sure all the food was still safe to eat. I was relieved to see that everything was still cold and fresh.
