I recently purchased a GE dryer and am having trouble resetting the control board. I have tried to follow the instructions in the manual, but I am still having difficulty. I have tried unplugging the dryer and plugging it back in, but that did not work. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset the control board? I would really appreciate any help I can get.

To reset a GE dryer control board, first unplug the dryer from the wall outlet. Next, locate the reset button on the control board, usually located behind the front panel. Press and hold the reset button for 3-5 seconds, then release. Plug the dryer back into the wall outlet and turn it on. The control board should now be reset.
