how to reset ge dryer

I have a GE dryer that needs to be reset. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that did not work. I have also tried resetting the circuit breaker, but that did not work either. Is there anything else I can try to reset my dryer? I really need help with this as I am not sure what else to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. To reset a GE dryer, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. If the dryer still does not work, check the circuit breaker or fuse box to make sure the power is on. If the power is on, check the door switch to make sure it is working correctly. If the door switch is working correctly, check the thermal fuse to make sure it is not blown. If the thermal fuse is not blown, check the timer knob to make sure it is in the correct position. If the timer knob is in the correct position, then the dryer may need to be serviced.
