I recently purchased a KitchenAid ice maker and am having some difficulty resetting it. I have looked through the manual and tried the steps outlined, but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any advice on how to reset a KitchenAid ice maker? I would really appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

I recently had to reset my KitchenAid ice maker. It was a stressful experience, as I had never done this before. I was worried I would end up damaging the appliance, but luckily it all worked out in the end.
The first step was to unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply. Then I had to locate the reset button, which was on the back of the machine. I pressed the button and held it for a few seconds until I heard a click.
Next, I plugged the appliance back in and turned the water supply back on. I waited a few minutes for the ice maker to reset itself. When it was done, I checked to make sure the ice maker was working correctly.
Finally, I tested the ice maker by filling a cup with ice. I was relieved to see that it was working properly. I was glad I was able to reset my KitchenAid ice maker without any issues.
