I’m having trouble replacing the temperature sensor on my older model Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve looked up the instructions online, but they don’t seem to match my machine. Does anyone have any experience with this model or know how to replace the temperature sensor? I’d really appreciate any help that I can get.

I had a problem with my older model Hotpoint washing machine. The temperature sensor was not working properly and needed to be replaced. I had never done this before, so I was a bit nervous. I did some research online and found a few helpful tutorials. I read through the instructions carefully and gathered the necessary tools. I unplugged the machine and removed the back panel. I located the temperature sensor and disconnected it from the wiring. I then removed the old sensor and installed the new one. I reconnected the wiring and tested the machine to make sure the new sensor was working correctly. I was relieved when the machine worked properly and the temperature was now accurate. I was proud of myself for successfully replacing the temperature sensor and learning something new.
