how to replace the agitator dogs ina a kitchenaid washing machine

I have a KitchenAid washing machine and I’m trying to figure out how to replace the agitator dogs. I’ve looked online for instructions but I’m still having trouble understanding what I need to do. I’m hoping someone can provide me with a step-by-step guide on how to replace the agitator dogs. I’m not very handy when it comes to this kind of thing, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m also open to any tips or advice that can help me do the job correctly. Thank you in advance for your help!

  1. I recently had to replace the agitator dogs in my KitchenAid washing machine. It was a bit of a challenge, but I was able to do it with a few simple steps. First, I unplugged the washing machine and removed the agitator cap. I then unscrewed the retaining ring and removed the agitator. After that, I removed the old agitator dogs and replaced them with the new ones. I then reassembled the agitator and put the retaining ring back in place. Finally, I replaced the agitator cap and plugged the washing machine back in. It was a bit of a process, but I was able to complete it without any major issues. Now my washing machine is running like new again!
