I had a problem with my KitchenAid washer recently. The motor coupling was worn out and needed to be replaced. I had no idea how to do it, so I did some research and found out that it was a relatively simple fix.
First, I unplugged the washer and removed the back panel. Then I used a wrench to disconnect the motor coupling from the motor and the transmission.
