I have a Hotpoint washing machine and I’m trying to replace the load selector. I’ve looked online for instructions, but I’m still having trouble figuring out how to do it. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about replacing the load selector? I’m not very experienced with this kind of repair, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had to replace the load selector on my Hotpoint washing machine. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to do it myself.
I started by unplugging the machine and turning off the water supply. Then I removed the top panel to get access to the selector. I had to be careful not to damage any of the wiring or hoses.
I then removed the old selector and replaced it with the new one. I made sure to attach the wires and hoses properly and securely. I also checked to make sure the selector was properly aligned.
After that, I replaced the top panel, plugged the machine back in, and turned the water supply back on. I tested the selector to make sure it was working properly and it was!
I was relieved to have completed the task successfully. I felt a sense of accomplishment for having done it myself. I was glad I had taken the time to learn how to
