I’m having trouble replacing the felt seal on my GE dryer. I’ve tried to do it myself, but I’m not sure I’m doing it correctly. I’m not sure what kind of seal I need to buy or how to install it. Does anyone have any advice on how to replace the felt seal on my dryer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1. Unplug the dryer and remove the back panel.
2. Locate the felt seal and detach it from the drum.
3. Measure the circumference of the drum and cut the new felt seal to size.
4. Attach the new felt seal to the drum with adhesive.
5. Replace the back panel and plug the dryer back in.
