I recently had to replace the bearing on my KitchenAid washer. I was a bit intimidated at first, as I had never attempted a repair like this before. But after watching a few YouTube videos, I felt confident that I could do it.
I started by unplugging the washer and removing the back panel. I then had to remove the drum and the pulley. Once I had those out of the way, I was able to access the bearing. I removed the old bearing, replaced it with the new one, and reassembled the washer.
