I’m needing to replace the bearing on my Kitchenaid washer. I’ve looked online and found some helpful videos on YouTube, but I’m still feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure how to go about it. Has anyone else done this before? If so, could you please explain the process step-by-step? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I recently had to replace the bearing on my KitchenAid washer. I was a bit intimidated at first, as I had never attempted a repair like this before. But after watching a few YouTube videos, I felt confident that I could do it.
I started by unplugging the washer and removing the back panel. I then had to remove the drum and the pulley. Once I had those out of the way, I was able to access the bearing. I removed the old bearing, replaced it with the new one, and reassembled the washer.
The repair was surprisingly easy and I’m glad I was able to do it myself. I saved a lot of money by not having to call a repairman, and I now have the confidence to tackle other repairs around the house. I’m so glad I took the time to watch those YouTube videos and learn how to do this repair.
