I recently purchased an Amana refrigerator and I’m having some trouble with the ice maker. I’ve read the manual and followed all the instructions, but it’s still not working. I’m not sure what the issue is and I’m hoping someone in this forum can help me out. Does anyone have any advice on how to repair an ice maker on an Amana refrigerator? If your Amana refrigerator’s ice maker is not working, you may need to check a few things. First, make sure the ice maker is turned on. If it is, then check to see if the water supply line is connected and the water valve is open. If the water supply line is connected and the water valve is open, then check to see if the ice maker’s shut-off arm is in the down position. If it is, then check to see if the ice maker’s water fill tube is frozen. If it is, then you will need to thaw it out. If the ice maker’s water fill tube is not frozen, then you may need to replace the ice maker assembly.
