I have a Hotpoint fridge freezer that has stopped working. I’m not sure what the problem is and I’m not sure how to go about fixing it. I’m hoping someone can help me out and provide some advice on how to repair it. I’m not a professional, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking for a solution that is cost-effective and that I can do on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I recently had to repair my Hotpoint fridge freezer. It was a daunting task, but with a little research and patience, I was able to fix it.
First, I unplugged the fridge and took off the back panel. I inspected the condenser coils and saw that they were clogged with dust and debris. I vacuumed them out and then replaced the panel.
Next, I checked the door seals. They were worn and needed to be replaced. I ordered new seals online and then replaced them.
The last step was to check the temperature settings. I adjusted them to the recommended settings and then plugged the fridge back in.
My Hotpoint fridge freezer was back up and running in no time. I was relieved to have fixed it without having to call a repairman. I’m glad I took the time to research and repair it myself.
