I recently purchased a Kitchenaid French Door refrigerator and I’m having trouble removing the ice maker. I’ve tried to follow the instructions in the manual but I’m still having difficulty. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the ice maker from this refrigerator? I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions.
I recently had to remove the ice maker from my KitchenAid French Door Refrigerator. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to do it myself. I started by unplugging the refrigerator from the wall and turning off the water supply. Then, I opened the freezer door and removed the ice bin and ice maker cover. I unscrewed the screws that were holding the ice maker in place and gently pulled it out. I then disconnected the water line and electrical connections. After that, I was able to easily slide the ice maker out of the refrigerator. I was relieved that I was able to complete the task without any help. I was glad that I was able to save some money by doing it myself. I now have a better understanding of how to remove an ice maker from a KitchenAid French Door Refrigerator.
