I have a Hotpoint washer and I’m trying to figure out how to remove the water valve. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any instructions on how to do this. I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I’m not sure if it’s a simple process or if it’s more complicated than that. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I had to replace the water valve on my Hotpoint washer recently. It was a daunting task at first, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by unplugging the washer and shutting off the water supply. Then, I removed the back panel of the washer and located the valve. I used a wrench to loosen the valve, and then I removed the hoses from the valve. I was careful to keep track of the hoses so I could put them back in the right place. After the valve was out, I put the new one in, reconnected the hoses, and tightened the valve. Finally, I plugged the washer back in and turned the water supply back on. I was relieved to see that the washer was working properly again. I was proud that I was able to replace the valve on my own.
