I am having trouble removing the door from my hotpoint oven. I have tried to follow the instructions in the manual, but I still can’t seem to get it off. I have tried to use a screwdriver, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is there any other way to remove the door without damaging the oven? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I remember the first time I had to remove the door of my Hotpoint oven. I was so nervous and scared that I was going to break something. I had no idea what I was doing. I started by unplugging the oven from the wall. Then I removed the screws from the door hinges on the top and bottom of the door. I then carefully lifted the door off the hinges and placed it on the counter. I was so relieved that I had done it without breaking anything. I then proceeded to clean the oven and replace the door. I put the screws back into the hinges and made sure the door was secure. I was so proud of myself for being able to do it without any help. I felt a sense of accomplishment and I knew I could do it again if I ever needed to.
