I have a Hotpoint oven and recently I noticed that a piece of glass had fallen out of the oven door. I’m not sure how it happened, but I’m now trying to figure out how to remove the remaining glass from the door. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this safely and effectively? I’m concerned about the glass shattering and creating a mess, and I don’t want to damage the oven door. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I was recently in a situation where I had to figure out how to remove glass from an oven door hotpoint. It was a daunting task, and I was nervous that I would break something. After doing some research, I found out that the process was actually quite simple. I started by unplugging the oven and removing the screws that were holding the door in place. Then, I carefully lifted the door off and placed it on a flat surface. I then used a flat-head screwdriver to carefully pry the glass away from the frame. I was relieved to see that the glass came off without any damage. After that, I was able to remove the glass from the door and clean it before putting the door back together. Thankfully, the process was easier than I expected, and I was able to get the job done without causing any damage.
