how to remove amana dishwasher filter

I’m having trouble removing the filter from my Amana dishwasher. I’ve tried to pull it out but it won’t budge. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find any instructions on how to do it. Does anyone know how to remove an Amana dishwasher filter? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
