I’m having trouble removing the water pump from my Amana washing machine. I’ve tried to follow the instructions in the manual, but I’m still having difficulty. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone help me figure out how to remove the water pump? Any advice would be much appreciated.

1. Unplug the washing machine from the wall outlet.
2. Drain the water from the machine by disconnecting the hoses from the back of the washer.
3. Remove the access panel from the back of the washer to expose the pump.
4. Unscrew the mounting screws that hold the pump in place.
5. Disconnect the hoses and wires from the pump.
6. Lift the pump out of the machine.
7. Clean the area around the pump.
8. Install the new pump, reconnect the hoses and wires, and replace the mounting screws.
9. Replace the access panel and reconnect the hoses to the back of the washer.
10. Plug the machine back into the wall outlet.
