I’m having trouble releasing the door safety latch on my Amana washing machine. I’ve tried pushing the latch down and pulling the door open, but it won’t budge. I’ve also tried using a flathead screwdriver to pry it open, but that hasn’t worked either. Is there any other way I can try to release the door safety latch? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
