I recently had to put my Amana dishwasher into diagnostic mode. It was a little tricky, but I figured it out. First, I unplugged the dishwasher from the wall outlet. Then, I held down the start button and plugged the dishwasher back into the wall outlet. After that, I pressed the start button again and held it for 5 seconds. The dishwasher then started to beep and the lights started to blink. This indicated that the dishwasher was in diagnostic mode. I then used the buttons on the control panel to select the diagnostic mode that I wanted to use. After that, I pressed the start button again and the dishwasher ran through the diagnostic mode. Once it was finished, I was able to determine the issue with the dishwasher and fix it. It was a great feeling to be able to figure out the issue and fix it myself.
