I have a Hotpoint washing machine and the door is stuck shut. I have no power to the machine, so I’m not able to open it. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on how I can open the door without power. I’ve tried pushing the release button, but nothing happens. I’m hoping someone can help me out with this issue. I was in a panic. My Hotpoint washing machine door was stuck shut and I had no power. I had a load of laundry that needed to be done and I had no idea how I was going to get it open. After some research, I found out that there was a way to open the door without power.
I started by unplugging the machine and taking off the back panel. I then located the door latch and manually released it. Once I had the latch released, I was able to pull the door open. I was relieved to find that the door had opened and I could access my laundry.
I then had to figure out how to get the power back on. I found the power cord and connected it back to the machine. After a few minutes, I was able to turn the power back on and the machine was working again.
I was thankful that I was able to open the door without power. It was a stressful situation but
