I remember the first time I had to manually drain a Hotpoint dishwasher. I was so nervous, but I knew I had to do it. I started by unplugging the dishwasher from the wall. Then, I opened up the bottom panel and located the drain hose. I carefully disconnected the hose from the dishwasher and placed it in a bucket. After the water had finished draining, I reconnected the drain hose and put the bottom panel back on. Finally, I plugged the dishwasher back into the wall and it was ready to use. It was a nerve-wracking experience but I’m glad I was able to do it successfully. I’m sure I’ll be able to do it again if I ever need to.
