how to light an amana gas oven

I recently purchased an Amana gas oven and I’m having trouble figuring out how to light it. I’ve read the manual and it’s not very clear. Does anyone have any experience with lighting an Amana gas oven? I’m looking for any tips or advice on how to get it going. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if I need to do something differently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I remember the first time I tried to light the Amana gas oven. I was so nervous and unsure of myself. I had heard horror stories about people getting injured trying to light a gas oven, so I was determined to do it the right way. I read the instructions carefully and followed them to the letter. I opened the oven door, then I located the gas knob and turned it counterclockwise to the “Light” position. I then used a long match or lighter to ignite the gas. I was relieved when it lit up. I then turned the knob clockwise to the desired temperature. I was so proud of myself for succeeding in lighting the oven without any problems. From then on, I was confident that I could light the Amana gas oven safely and correctly.
