I recently purchased a side by side refrigerator with an electrolux icemaker. I’m having trouble figuring out how to install it properly. I’m not sure what the best way to go about it is. I’m looking for advice on how to install the icemaker correctly. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that they could share with me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello!
Thanks for asking this question. Installing an Electrolux icemaker for a side by side refrigerator is not as difficult as it may seem. I have personally installed one in my own refrigerator and can confidently say that it is a fairly straightforward process.
The first step is to make sure that you have all the necessary components and tools. You will need a water line, the icemaker itself, a screwdriver, a drill, and a few other small tools. Once you have all the components, you will need to locate the water line that will be used to supply the icemaker with water. This is usually located behind the refrigerator, so you will need to open up the back panel to locate it. Once you have located the water line, you will need to drill a hole in the wall to run the water line through.
Next, you will need to attach the water line to the icemaker. This is done by connecting the water line
