I’m having a hard time getting the bottom plate off of my Amana Tandem 7300 washing machine. I’ve looked up instructions online, but nothing seems to work. I’ve tried to unscrew the screws, but they won’t budge. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what did you do to get the bottom plate off? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I remember the first time I had to figure out how to get the bottom plate off of my Amana Tandem 7300 washing machine. I was so frustrated and I had no idea what to do. After a few hours of searching online, I finally found a video that showed me the exact steps to take.
The first step was to unplug the machine from the wall, and then to remove the four screws that held the bottom plate in place. After that, I had to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the plate off. It took a bit of force, but eventually it came off.
Once the plate was off, I was able to access the inner workings of the machine. I was able to clean out the lint trap, replace the drain pump, and check the hoses for any signs of wear and tear. After that, I was able to put the bottom plate back on and plug the machine back into the wall.
