how to fix kitchenaid dishwasher

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher that is not working properly. I’m not sure what is wrong with it. It starts up, but then stops after a few minutes and doesn’t seem to be cleaning the dishes. I’m not sure what I can do to fix it. Can anyone offer any advice on how to fix my Kitchenaid dishwasher? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
