I have a Hotpoint fridge freezer that is not working properly. The fridge is too warm and the freezer is too cold. I have tried adjusting the temperature settings but nothing seems to be working. I have also checked the condenser coil and it is clean. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had a problem with my Hotpoint fridge freezer recently. It was making a loud noise and the temperature was dropping. I knew I had to do something to fix it.
First, I checked the manual for instructions on how to troubleshoot. I followed the steps and found out that the condenser fan was not working properly. I then had to locate the fan and remove it. After that, I had to clean the fan and the condenser coils.
Next, I had to check the temperature settings. I adjusted the temperature setting to the correct level and the noise stopped. I also had to check the door seals and make sure they were tight.
Finally, I had to check the evaporator fan. I had to make sure it was working properly and that it was not clogged with dust. I cleaned the fan and the evaporator coils and the noise stopped.
My Hotpoint fridge freezer was now working properly.
