how to fix an inglis dryer

I have an Inglis dryer that has stopped working. I’ve checked the circuit breaker and it’s fine. I’ve also checked the power cord and it’s plugged in correctly. I’m not sure what else to do to get it working again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix an Inglis dryer? I’d really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you!

  1. Hi there!

I’m glad you asked about how to fix an Inglis dryer. I’ve been fixing and maintaining appliances for years, and I can tell you that Inglis dryers are some of the most reliable on the market. That said, even the most reliable appliances can have issues from time to time.

The first thing you should do is check the power cord and make sure it’s securely plugged into the wall outlet and the dryer. If the cord is loose, tighten it and see if that solves the issue. If not, you may need to check the circuit breaker and make sure it’s not tripped. If it is, reset it and see if that solves the problem.

If the power cord and circuit breaker are both in good working order, then you may need to check the dryer’s heating element. This is usually located behind the dryer’s drum, and you’ll need to remove the back panel
