I have a GE washing machine and the agitator isn’t working properly. I’m not sure what the issue is, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on how to fix it. I’ve already checked the power cord and the hose connections and they seem to be working fine. I’m not sure what the next step should be, so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
1. Check the drive belt for wear and tear, and replace if necessary.
2. Make sure the agitator is properly aligned and secured.
3. Check the agitator coupling for damage and replace if necessary.
4. Check the agitator dogs for wear and replace if necessary.
5. Check the agitator for any debris that may be blocking the movement.
6. Check the motor coupling for wear and replace if necessary.
7. Check the motor for any damage and replace if necessary.
8. Check the transmission for any damage and replace if necessary.
9. Check the spin basket for any damage and replace if necessary.
10. Check the suspension spring for any damage and replace if necessary.
