how to fix a squeaky amana dryer

I have an Amana dryer that is squeaking when I turn it on. I’m not sure what the cause of the squeaking is, but it’s very annoying and I want to get it fixed. I’ve tried oiling the parts, but it hasn’t helped. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? I’m open to any advice or tips that anyone can provide. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

  1. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out how to fix my squeaky Amana dryer. After doing some research online, I found some helpful tips. First, I unplugged the dryer and removed the back panel. I then vacuumed around the motor and drum to remove any lint or dust build-up. Next, I lubricated the motor and drum rollers with a silicone-based lubricant. I also applied a small amount of lubricant to the idler pulley wheel. Finally, I put the back panel back on and plugged the dryer back in. After following these steps, the squeaking sound was gone and my Amana dryer was running smoothly. I was relieved to have finally figured out how to fix my dryer and was thankful for the helpful tips I found online.
