how to drain hotpoint washing machine

I’m having trouble draining my Hotpoint washing machine. I’ve looked online for instructions but I’m still not sure how to do it. I’m hoping someone can help me out and explain the process step-by-step. I’ve tried to locate the drain hose and the drain filter, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to disconnect the drain hose from the machine or if there’s a different way to do it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  1. I remember the first time I had to drain my Hotpoint washing machine. I was so scared that I was going to do something wrong and cause a flood. I had read the instructions, but I was still so nervous.

I started by unplugging the machine from the wall and turning off the water supply. Next, I opened the door and removed all the clothes. Then I unscrewed the hose from the back of the machine and placed it in a bucket or sink.

I then turned the dial to the drain cycle and waited until the water had drained out. I made sure to keep an eye on the machine just in case it started to overfill. Once the water had drained out, I turned off the dial and disconnected the hose.

Finally, I wiped down the inside of the machine and put the clothes back in. I was so relieved that I had managed to drain the machine without any problems. It was a great feeling of accomplishment.
