I have a Hotpoint dishwasher and I’m having trouble draining it. I’ve tried to troubleshoot the issue myself, but I’m not sure what to do. I’ve checked the filter and the drain hose, but it still won’t drain. Does anyone have any advice on how to drain a Hotpoint dishwasher? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the first time I had to drain my dishwasher. I was so nervous, but I had to do it. I followed the instructions and it was surprisingly easy.
First, I unplugged the dishwasher from the wall and located the drain hose. I then connected the drain hose to the sink drain. After that, I opened the dishwasher door and placed a container or bucket underneath the drain hose. I then turned the knob to the drain setting.
Once the water had drained from the dishwasher, I turned off the knob and removed the drain hose from the sink drain. I then wiped away any excess water from the dishwasher and plugged it back into the wall.
I was so relieved that I had managed to drain the dishwasher without any issues. It was a great feeling of accomplishment. I now know how to drain my Hotpoint dishwasher and I’m confident that I can do it again if I ever need to.
