I recently had to do a reset on my Amana washing machine. It was a bit of a learning experience, but I got through it.
First, I unplugged the machine from the wall outlet. I waited a few minutes before plugging it back in. Once I had done that, I pressed the power button and held it for five seconds. This allowed the machine to reset itself.
Next, I opened the lid and made sure the door was closed securely. I then pressed the start button and the machine began to run. I could hear the water running and the machine started to fill with water.
Once the machine was full, I selected the cycle I wanted and pressed the start button again. The machine began to spin and the cycle was complete.
Finally, I opened the lid and checked the clothes to make sure they were clean. I was relieved to find that the reset had worked and my clothes were clean.
