how to disassemble kitchenaid direct drive washer

I recently purchased a KitchenAid direct drive washer and am having trouble disassembling it. I have looked online for instructions but can’t seem to find any that are specific to this model. Does anyone have any advice on how to disassemble this washer? I would really appreciate any help that can be offered.

  1. I recently had to disassemble my KitchenAid direct drive washer. It was a daunting task, but with the right tools and some patience, I was able to do it. First, I unplugged the power cord from the wall and shut off the water supply. Then, I removed the screws that held the back panel in place and carefully lifted it off. Next, I disconnected the water hoses from the back of the washer and unscrewed the mounting screws from the bottom. After that, I was able to remove the washer tub and agitator from the base. Finally, I removed the drain pump and the motor coupler. It was a tedious process, but I was relieved when I was finished. I now have a better understanding of how my washer works and how to take it apart if I ever need to.
