how to defrost frigidaire gallery freezer

I recently purchased a Frigidaire Gallery freezer and I’m having trouble figuring out how to defrost it. I’ve read the manual, but I’m still not sure how to do it properly. Does anyone have any advice on how to defrost a Frigidaire Gallery freezer? I’m hoping to get some tips on the best and safest way to defrost it. I’d really appreciate any help or advice that anyone can provide. Thank you!

  1. There are two ways to defrost a Frigidaire Gallery freezer: manually or with a defrost cycle. To manually defrost the freezer, unplug the appliance and remove all food and items from the freezer. Place a pan or bucket on the floor to catch any water that may drip from the freezer. Then, use a hair dryer to melt the ice buildup on the walls and shelves of the freezer. Once the ice is melted, wipe away any remaining water with a towel. To use the defrost cycle, press the “Defrost” button on the control panel. The freezer will then automatically defrost itself.
