I have a Frigidaire freezer and I’m having trouble figuring out how to defrost it. I’ve looked at the manual and it’s not very clear. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what the best way to defrost it is. I’m worried about damaging the freezer if I do it wrong, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To defrost a Frigidaire freezer, unplug the appliance and remove all items from the freezer. Place a bowl of hot water inside the freezer to help speed up the defrosting process. Use a spatula or other flat tool to scrape off the ice buildup from the walls and shelves. Wipe down the interior with a damp cloth or towel. Once the freezer is completely defrosted, plug it back in and replace the items inside.
