how to defrost a frigidaire upright freezer

I have a Frigidaire upright freezer that needs to be defrosted. I’m not sure how to do it properly and safely. I’ve heard that it can be done with a hair dryer, but I’m not sure if that is the best way or if there are other methods. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to defrost a Frigidaire upright freezer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  1. To defrost a Frigidaire upright freezer, first unplug the freezer and empty out all of the food. Next, place towels on the floor around the freezer to catch any water that may drip. Then, use a hair dryer to melt the ice from the inside walls and shelves of the freezer. Finally, wipe down the inside of the freezer with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry before plugging it back in and refilling it with food.
