I have a Hotpoint dishwasher and I’m having some trouble cleaning the filter. I’m not sure how to go about it and I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve tried to look up instructions online but I’m still confused. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on how to clean the filter on a Hotpoint dishwasher. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the day I first had to clean the filter on my Hotpoint dishwasher. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was determined to figure it out. I started by unplugging the dishwasher and then taking off the lower kick panel. I then located the filter, which was located at the bottom of the dishwasher. I unscrewed the filter and removed it. I then took it outside and rinsed it with a hose. I then scrubbed it with a brush to remove any food particles. I then put the filter back into the dishwasher and screwed it back in. I then plugged the dishwasher back in and ran a cycle to make sure everything was working properly. I was relieved that I was able to figure out how to clean the filter on my Hotpoint dishwasher. It was a great feeling of accomplishment.
