I recently had to clean the softener dispenser in my Amana washing machine. It was a bit of a chore, but I found it was worth the effort.
First, I took the dispenser out of the machine and emptied it of any remaining softener. I then filled a bucket with warm water and a few drops of dish soap. I placed the dispenser in the bucket and left it to soak for a few minutes.
